Session I Nov, Sat 12th 9:00-11:30
Backbends & Handbalancings
This class will begin with a flowing sequence to get warmed-up and make sure everyone is well versed in the alignments necessary to have a safe and fun backbending practice.
Along the way we’ll pay with some unusual handbalancing poses including handstand variations. Once, we’ve built up a good sweat, we’ll switch to a workshop mode and focus on deeper safer backbends than you’ve ever done!
Session II Nov, Sat 12th 13:00-15:30
This class will take a slightly slower tempo than the morning, but don’t think it will be easy! We’ll cover how to “not cheat” in forward bends – the primary cause of yoga related injuries and “yoga plateau syndrome.”
Session III Nov, Sun 13th 9:00-11:30
World Wide of Yoga
This class will be strictly devoted to having fun! Safety and good alignment as always, will be taught, but the plan will be to take a spin around every category of yoga pose and even hit some undiscovered lands in the form of variations you probably haven’t seen yet. Don’t miss it!
